Suspended Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Adjenim Boateng Adjei says he’s just being vilified over unsubstantiated claims of corruption.
President Akufo-Addo suspended the PPA boss last week after a documentary by freelance journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni indicted Mr. Adjenim Adjei in issues of conflict of Interest and selling of government contracts.
Mr. Adjenim Adjei was questioned yesterday by investigators of the Office of the Special Prosecutor over the said allegations when he made his appearance before the Special Prosecutor.
He told newsmen after he faced the officials of the Special Prosecutor Thursday that he’s being judged wrongly.
“The public is simply speaking words of untruth. I regret the way I am being crucified for doing nothing”.
